Afternoon LegacyStats. A new poll is up and we want to see what you guys think. This week is all about Halo Multiplayer in the Halo:MCC.
Hey all! There's a few new things you should be aware of:
Some high-level Destiny Beta stats have been setup. You can add your Destiny Beta account to your profile just like any other game and stats should automatically load. In addition, Groups can see leaderboards for the various stats we are tracking, automatically, just like every other game we track.
All groups have leaderboards now for the games we track. You'll see a Leaderboards tab on the group page. Just select a game and a stat and you have a leaderboard for the members of that group that have added their game accounts. These are NOT Global, and there are no plans to have global.
Quite a few small changes made in the last 24 hours:
Next to just about every game you can load here, you'll see something new called 'LegacyGrade'. This is something I've always wanted to do, and HaloCharts sorta did this once for Halo 3. The concept attempts to Grade each player's games based on averages. It's not perfect, as ranking by stats never is, but this Grade can give you an idea of how you compare to other players. The grading goes from A+ to F, but most players should fall into the C to C+ range if you're an average player.
- As a Group Owner, you can ban people from your Group now. Use My Groups and go to Members under Groups you Own
- You can set a default rank now for your group. This means when you approve new members they automatically get that rank.
- Big new feature of the day: Group Polls! If you run a group here, give it a try!
There's been a fair amount of updates all over the site.
Big addition in the form of Group Awards is now available! If you create a group, you can upload and distribute group awards to your members that will be displayed on their Legacy Profiles.
- Groups, forums, chat and messages have been setup.
So I've been kicking this idea around for years now. I tried it once before with a site called FPSCharts, but the name forced me into just FPS games. Today I am starting LegacyStats.com, a site to allow gamers to show off stats from as many games as possible in a single place. The goal isn't to do a ton of in-depth stats for the games (although it is possible), but instead to focus on high-level stats for each game to create really nice gaming profiles.
- Battlefield 4 stats have been added as a selectable game for Legacy Profiles.
